Art Director Ramu Thangaraj is a talented and passionate creative mind best known for his exceptional work in the critically acclaimed film “Pariyerum Perumal”. Hailing from Villupuram, Ramu’s early interest in the arts and painting laid a strong foundation for his career in film. His dedication to his craft led him to pursue and complete a Master’s degree in Painting, further sharpening his visual sensibilities.
Ramu’s journey in the film industry began in 2010 under the mentorship of renowned art director Rajeevan. Over a span of eight years, he assisted in over 13 films, including notable projects like Siruthai, Thangameengal, Ennai Arinthal and Jilla. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality made him a valuable asset in every production he was part of.
Kuthiraivaal, released in 2021, featured Kalaiarasan in the lead role. The film earned critical acclaim and was nominated for Best Art Direction at the Ananda Vikatan Awards, recognizing the exceptional work of art director Ramu Thangaraj.
