Shadu Saravanan – Cinematographer
Shadu, Cinematographer, hails from Salem. He completed his diploma in ECE and initially worked as an ATM machine service engineer, which required him to travel frequently. During these travels, he spent a lot of time in doing street photography that deeply interested him into cinema. While accompanying them, he began taking photos, which slowly sparked his own passion for the visual craft.
Driven by this growing interest, he requested a transfer to Chennai with the hope of pursuing something meaningful in cinema. After moving to the city, he actively started searching for opportunities. Eventually, he got the chance to meet cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman sir, who recognised his passion for the craft that leads him to assist with Vidhu Ayyanana. That became a turning point, marking the beginning of his journey in the film industry.
Since then, Shadu has worked with many technicians and assisted in several films like
