From Assistant Director to Debut Director — A Journey of Grit and Vision
Vignesh is an associate Director born in Pudukkottai, an engineering graduate whose heart always beat for storytelling. His passion for cinema pushed him to take the very first step into the film world — not through comfort or shortcuts, but by working as an Assistant Director under director Sanjeev Kumar.
His dedication, sincerity, and hunger to learn soon earned him an opportunity to work as an Assistant Director, and that became the true beginning of his cinematic journey. From there, he contributed to films such as Thakka Thakka, RadioPetti, Kanaa, Oh Manapenne, Lubber Pandhu, and Diesel, proving his skill and commitment both behind the camera and within the creative process.
With time, he began pitching his own film ideas. After countless efforts and rejections, he never stopped. Today, he has multiple projects in progress, slowly shaping his dream of becoming a director.
